Entrée. User-Centered Design

Entrée is designed with the burnt out consumer in mind. Rather than spending energy and time agonizing over potential meals for the day in hopeless Google searches, Entrée allows for quick and delicious meal selection at any time of the day. Its ideal user is someone who seeks to elevate their home dining experience with simple, clear and accessible design. Users input the food and ingredients present in their pantries and the app generates a slew of ideas that work with what they have on hand. A search tab offers filtering and specificity with the type of meal desired. To quicken the pantry input, a receipt scanner lays in wait at the center of the bottom navigation bar. A handy grocery list function allows for easy shopping. See something that catches your eye while browsing recipes? Tap over to the grocery list and jot down anything you do not have in your inventory.

The name Entrée was chosen as a sleek and simple indicator of what the app includes. Inspired by modern Swiss design, the app offers a high class experience with food for the everyday homecook, student, parent, or business owner.
